Deleting your account
You can delete your Quilly account at any time, directly in the app. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete from the app
- Open Quilly and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we remove:
- Your account profile (username, display name, avatar, keys).
- Your messages and conversations stored on our servers.
- Your contacts and any invite tokens you created.
- Your registered devices and push-notification tokens.
Some information may persist briefly in encrypted backups or operational logs before being removed in the ordinary course of operations. Note that messages you already sent to other people remain on their devices, as is normal for any messenger.
Can't access the app?
If you can no longer sign in and want your account deleted, email [email protected] from the account you'd like removed (or with enough detail for us to identify it), and we'll process the deletion for you.
